about the show

Last year’s Paradise City show at the 33rd Street Armory saw a 22% jump in
attendance. In our guest books, collectors enthusiastically described this up-and-coming
show as 'fresh', 'exciting' and of 'remarkable quality'. Most importantly, the
artists’ questionnaires repeatedly used the words 'knowledgeable', 'sophisticated' and
'the right people' when describing their customers.
Paradise City enters its seventh
year in the Philadelphia market with an exciting move to a new Center City location.
The Pennsylvania Convention Center has a rich history of hosting successful consumer
events, and the move to the Convention Center offers a more convenient, accessible and
comfortable atmosphere for show attendees. Paradise City Philadelphia will continue to build on this desirable customer
base, educating and motivating collectors from throughout the region with an ongoing
range of innovative marketing strategies and partnerships.
the location and facility

The Pennsylvania Convention Center is conveniently located in Center City
Philadelphia. The show’s superb location makes it easily accessible to your customers
from the Philadelphia Metro region, Baltimore/Washington, New Jersey and New
York City, and the show will be publicized accordingly. There are numerous parking
facilities surrounding the Convention Center, and its location places you right in the
midst of a wide range of cultural, culinary and recreational activities. The exhibition area is all in one space, making for a flexible
range of booth sizes and evenly distributed traffic flow throughout the whole hall. Although moving to a larger facility, Paradise
City Philadelphia will retain its intimate size and unique character.
amenities

Paradise City will furnish wall-to-wall carpeting in the entire exhibition hall, free jewelry lock-up and exhibitor storage.
Advance promotional materials are provided at no charge. Full convention services, including pipe and drape and drayage, will
be available. A large, professionally designed indoor Sculpture Garden provides exhibitors with a beautiful public setting for the
display of landscape-oriented or oversize pieces. A café with plentiful seating next to the Sculpture Garden is filled with live
acoustic jazz, making it very attractive for your customers to spend the day. Special collector activities and a benefit party are in
the works.
